Stuart Chaffee, PhD

Stuart Chaffee is the Chief Executive Officer of QuantX Biosciences. He was previously the Chief Business Officer at Affinivax prior to its sale to GSK and was the Chief Business and Financial Officer of Praxis Medicines, a precision neuroscience company. Having spent the last 25 years in the biopharma industry across both scientific and corporate roles, he has had the opportunity to help start numerous biotech companies, including co-founding Kymera Therapeutics.  

Trained as a medicinal chemist, Stuart holds a BS in chemistry from the College of William and Mary, a PhD in organic chemistry from Yale University, and an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School.
